Hours after the approval of the amendment with the decisive vote of the European Parliament to declare the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist, Iran’s government media announced in the last hour of the evening of Wednesday, January 18, the preparation of a “two-emergency” plan by the parliament members of the regime.
The Fars news agency, affiliated with the IRGC, quoted Mohammad Khodabakhshi, a representative of Aliguderz, in a report saying that with the approval of this emergency plan, “the armed forces of the European Union member states are considered terrorists by Iran.”
Before that, a number of Islamic Republic officials, including MP Mahmoud Nabavian, reacted to the action of the European Parliament with threatening statements.
